With the release of version 5.8, “Ingolstadt-Impuls,” we are expanding our weEMS energy management platform with new features designed for use in tenant electricity projects and real estate.
The update improves both the billing of various energy consumption categories and the collection and visualization of meter data within a building. The goal is to make energy management and tenant electricity projects even more flexible and transparent.
Other electricity can be billed through the tenant electricity program
With Release 5.8, other types of electricity can now also be billed through tenant electricity. These include, for example:
- Stairwell lighting
- Electricity for heating systems
- Electricity for charging infrastructure such as wall boxes
This allows additional energy consumption within a building to be recorded directly in the system and included in the billing.
Support for heat and cold meters
The platform now also supports heat and cooling meters.
The corresponding consumption data can be visualized and clearly displayed in the system.
This expands weEMS'scapabilities for mapping different types of energy within a building.
Manual meter reading
For meters without a direct digital connection, manual meter reading is now available.
This ensures that even unconnected measurement points can still be fully accounted for in energy management.
New login page with a modern design
With this release, the platform's login page was also redesigned and updated with a modern look.
This update also marks the first step toward making the platform white-label-ready, which will allow future partner solutions to be implemented with even greater flexibility.
Further improvements
In addition, this release includes:
- Revised email templates for SEPA processes, invoices, and welcome emails
- Further stability and performance optimizations to the platform
Conclusion
With the release of version 5.8, “Ingolstadt-Impuls,” weEMScontinues to evolve into an even more versatile platform for energy management and tenant electricity in real estate.
New features for meter integration, visualization, and billing help to better track and manage energy flows within the building.
