Your tasks

  • Management, prioritization and implementation of IT projects. This includes, for example:
    • Programming drivers for other IoT devices (e.g. inverters)
    • Development of local and higher-level optimization algorithms
    • Development and implementation of further use cases
    • Determination of an optimal hardware and software setting for small to large applications (commercial)
  • Operation, installation, maintenance and further development of the energy management system (OpenEMS)
  • Monitoring and ongoing optimization of customer systems in operation
  • Building your own team
  • Coordination and management of external service providers and partners
  • Special projects for the management

Your profile

  • Successfully completed studies in (business) informatics, mathematics, physics, energy management or a comparable course of study
  • Professional experience of managing teams and projects
  • Experience in IT consulting, process automation or application development
  • Programming skills in common programming languages, especially Java
  • Experience with interface communication and web technologies (e.g. API, JSON, REST, HTTPS, RPC)
  • Experience with databases and database queries
  • Experience in working with Linux systems
  • Extensive know-how in the field of project and process management
  • Structured way of working and very good analytical skills
  • Independent and systematic way of working
  • Willingness to work in a team and strong communication skills to convey complex technical solutions
  • Strategic thinking, the ability to reduce complex issues to what is essential for the addressee
  • High sense of responsibility

Intern / Working Student IT - Energy Management Systems (OpenEMS) (m/f/d)

Your tasks

Supporting the IT team on customer projects. These include, for example:

  • Operation, installation, maintenance and further development of the energy management system (OpenEMS)
  • Programming drivers for other IoT devices (e.g. inverters)

  • Development and implementation of further use cases
  • Determination of an optimal hardware and software setting for small to large applications (commercial)
  • Monitoring and ongoing optimization of customer systems in operation
  • Preparation of information on various topics
  • Preparation of results and creation of presentations
  • Creation of presentation templates

Your profile

  • Degree in (business) informatics, mathematics, physics, energy management or a comparable course of study
  • Analytical thinking
  • Communicative personality with an independent, autonomous and structured way of working
  • Positive attitudes towards the development of a sustainable energy supply
  • Programming skills in common programming languages, especially Java
  • Basic experience with interface communication and web technologies (e.g. API, JSON, REST, HTTPS, RPC)
  • Basic experience with databases and database queries
  • Basic experience in dealing with Linux systems
  • Confident handling of common MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Your tasks

Supporting the management and project teams in the context of demanding internal and external customer projects. These include, for example:

  • Support with the simulation of energy-efficient refurbishment projects in the building sector
    • Data analysis, preparation and evaluation
  • Development and presentation of use cases as part of strategy development
  • Support in the operation, installation, maintenance and further development of the energy management system (OpenEMS)
  • Preparation of information on various topics
  • Preparation of results and creation of presentations

Your profile

  • Degree in economics, industrial engineering, (business) informatics, energy management
    computer science, energy management or a comparable course of study
  • Analytical thinking
  • Communicative personality with an independent, autonomous and structured way of working
  • Positive attitudes towards the development of a sustainable energy supply
  • Confident handling of common MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Basic IT knowledge desirable
  • Basic database knowledge desirable (SQL)
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
