To further develop our sales department, we are looking for someone who combines strategy and operational sales expertise and is keen to build structures from the ground up.

As Head of Sales, you will play a key role in our next phase of growth. Together with the management team, you will further develop our go-to-market strategy, actively build up our pipeline, and establish a scalable sales setup. This role is not just about leadership, but above all about actively shaping, implementing, and scaling our business.

Your responsibilities:

Strategy & Structure

• Further development of our go-to-market strategy in the B2B environment
• Establishment of clear sales structures, KPIs, and forecasting processes
• Development of pricing, offering, and partner strategies

• Identification of new market opportunities and sales approaches

Business Development & Closing

• Active development and qualification of the sales pipeline
• Acquisition of new customers from the real estate, energy, and PropTech sectors
• Management of complex sales cycles through to contract conclusion
• Negotiations at decision-maker and management level

Team & Collaboration

• Establishment and further development of our sales team
• Coaching and professional guidance in a development context
• Close collaboration with marketing, product, operations, and management
• Feedback from market feedback in product and strategy development

Representation & Market Presence

• Presentations at customer, partner, and industry events
• Establishment of a strong network in the relevant market environment

Your profile:

Experience & Background

• Several years of experience in B2B sales (ideally approx. 5–7 years)
• Experience in establishing or scaling sales structures
• Background in energy, real estate, PropTech, Climate Tech, or B2B SaaS

skills

• Hands-on approach and entrepreneurial mindset
• Closing strength in complex sales processes
• Structured, KPI-driven approach
• Clear, compelling communication at management level
• Enjoyment in building teams and structures

Tools & Qualifications

• Confident use of CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
• Experience with sales reporting and forecasting
• German C1, English B2 or higher
• Commercial training or degree – or comparable practical experience

• Preparing individual offers and conducting contract negotiations through to conclusion

• Collaboration with marketing to generate leads and participation in sales campaigns, trade fairs and events
• Market and competition monitoring and feedback to the product and management team

Your profile

• Completed commercial training or a comparable course of study
• Several years of professional experience in sales - ideally in the energy sector, building technology, real estate industry or comparable areas
• Strong communication skills, persuasiveness and confidence in closing deals
• Independent work and entrepreneurial thinking
• Confident handling of MS Office and CRM systems
• Enthusiasm for innovative, sustainable solutions and a basic understanding of technology

Your tasks - 50 % Scrum Master

• Responsibility for the Scrum process in one of our central software projects
• Moderation of daily standups, sprint planning, reviews and retros
• Supporting the team in self-organization, focus and continuous improvement
• Collaboration with product owners & stakeholders to clarify and prioritize goals
• Active participation in shaping our agile culture in the startup context

Your tasks - 50 % Inside Sales & Pre-Accounting

Inside Sales:

• Support with customer inquiries, quotation preparation and order processing
• Maintenance and further development of our customer database (CRM system Hubspot)
• Participation in lead generation, follow-up and customer communication (e-mail, telephone, virtual meetings)

Pre-accounting:

• Preparatory accounting (document management, payment reconciliation)
• Management of incoming payments, direct debits and accounts receivable processes
• Monitoring open items and dunning
• Support with monthly and year-end preparations

Your profile

• Certification as a Scrum Master (e.g. PSM I, CSM or comparable)
• Ideally initial experience in a Scrum role, e.g. in a tech or software team
• Organizational talent and a desire to be a mixture of team coach, coordinator and doer
• Experience or interest in internal sales and accounting processes
• Confident handling of digital tools (CRM, Excel, accounting software if necessary)
• Very good knowledge of German, solid knowledge of English

Supporting the IT team on customer projects. These include, for example:

• Operation, installation, maintenance and further development of the energy management system (OpenEMS)
• Programming drivers for other IoT devices (e.g. inverters)
• Development of local and higher-level optimization algorithms
• Development and implementation of further use cases
• Determination of an optimal hardware and software setting for small to large applications (commercial)
• Monitoring and ongoing optimization of customer systems in operation
• Preparation of information on various topics
• Preparation of results and creation of presentations
• Creation of presentation templates

Your profile

• Degree in (business) informatics, mathematics, physics, energy management or a comparable course of study
• Analytical thinking
• Communicative personality with an independent, autonomous and structured way of working
• Positive attitudes towards the development of a sustainable energy supply
• Programming skills in common programming languages, especially Java
• Basic experience with interface communication and web technologies (e.g. API, JSON, REST, HTTPS, RPC)
• Basic experience with databases and database queries
• Basic experience in dealing with Linux systems
• Confident handling of common MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Very good knowledge of German and English

Your tasks

Supporting the management and project teams in the context of demanding internal and external customer projects. These include, for example:

• Support with the simulation of energy-efficient refurbishment projects in the building sector
  • Data analysis, preparation and evaluation
• Development and presentation of use cases as part of strategy development
• Support in the operation, installation, maintenance and further development of the energy management system (OpenEMS)
• Preparation of information on various topics
• Preparation of results and creation of presentations

Your profile

• Degree in economics, industrial engineering, (business) informatics, energy management
  computer science, energy management or a comparable course of study
• Analytical thinking
• Communicative personality with an independent, autonomous and structured way of working
• Positive attitudes towards the development of a sustainable energy supply
• Confident handling of common MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Basic IT knowledge desirable
• Basic database knowledge desirable (SQL)
