The entrepreneur has been working in the field of renewable energies for more than 20 years. With his company RES Projects, he developed an innovative way of processing biogas into biomethane and feeding it into the German natural gas grid. He founded the biomethane trading company bmp greengas in 2007 and was awarded the German Energy Agency's Innovation Prize in 2009.
